New Pak Tribal 8'10"×12'3"
Looks like an elaborated Persian flatweave, but actually it is a medium weave, cotton foundation carpet with a basically three echelon pattern: the two end panels show light blue bands with diamond patterns, flanked by stripes with squared knots; the central section shows three rows of diamonds and hexagons. The patterns are generally taken from Persian tribal supplementary weft covers and textiles. The transference is smooth and artistically viable. The originals are usually on wool, but here the foundation is cotton. As new condition.
