Semi-Antique Turkish Oushak 9'10"×13'4"

C. 1900 This Heriz-style west Anatolian workshop carpet shows an abrashed sea-green field supporting a slightly off-entre stepped coral medallion enclosing a 10 pointed straw-ecru sub-medallion with chocolate accents and four oblique palmettes. Straw-sand irregular corner pieces. Abrashed coral-rust border with doubly bet slanted leaves and nested wonky rosettes. A totally informal carpet with weavers following patterns in their heads. Wool foundation, coarse weave. Even, allover wear, but still very healthy. Fairly good condition.
