C. 1890 This classic rustic scatter shows a madder field, with a stepped and pent ivory medallion, and triangular salmon red pediments, with surrounding cream and navy “Memling gul” octagons. Moss hreen details, Ecru main strip-style border with progressive chain of double brackets. Wool foundation, pliable and soft weave. Medium-coarse village weave. Very light allover wear. Good condition, lacking wide plainweave end finishes.
