This is a totally classic, totally urban Persian carpet with a good weave, low clipped pile and a generally brisk tonality featuring a navy field moderately closely covered with a symmetrical four-part display of arabesques, palmettes and buds, with a central stacked red, ivory and light blue gently scalloped lozengoidal medallion. En suite corners. Red border with forked arabesques developing reversing petal palmettes. Cotton foundation. Good condition.
