New Pakistani Tabriz-design 8'10"×12'3"
The creamy ecru field is centred on an octilobe rosette, with open medallions formed for paired forked rust-brick arabesques symmetrically placed, and a filling of diminutive rosettes, stems, leaves and florets. Rust-brick main border in the 17th century “Vase carpet” manner with palmettes alternating with squares defined by double bud angles and enclosed palmettes. Well woven on cotton foundation, shortish pile. As new condition.
