New Pakistani Serapi-design 13'7"×15'5"

Wholly in the c. 1900 Heriz style, with the rare green field displaying a cartouche-shaped red subfield with turtle corners, centred by an indented dark blue medallion and conforming flower accented sub-medallion. Eccentric green ragged palmette medallion pendants. Red border with diamonds within reserves formed by four barbed leaves. Interestingly varied colour patterns in the main border. Moderate weave on cotton foundation. As new condition.
