New Pakistani Kilim 6'8"×9'1"
The field pattern of a cream lattice ground structuring colour rows of stepped diamonds enclosing hooked elements in tribal Persian, but the ivory border of confronted S and Z shapes seems more Anatolian as does the red outer stripe with a simple zig-zag floral meander. The central colour-panelled border with a reciprocal keyhole pattern is more Persianate. Characteristic Paki extreme abrash in all pars. Wool pattern wefts, slit-tapestry technique. As new condition.
