New Pak Heriz-style Carpet 11'10"×15'1"

The brick brown lightly abrashed field shows a large, subtle allover trellis pattern with convex and diamond-shaped reserves, joined by small octagon and cross motives. Fringed lozenges, and numerous semi-geometric forms closely fill in. Main border of ecru panels with Turkmen tent-band style motives. Very unusual carpet with an eclectic and imaginative mix of patterns. Not really Heriz or “Serapi”-like, but who cares? Cotton foundation, medium weave. As new condition.
