The sandy straw framing border alternates cypresses and spindly flowering plants, and sets off the light grey-blue abrashed field with an allover pattern of tilted and upright palmettes, bitonal petal rosettes and elliptical radiating floret arrays. Cream, straw and rust details, with no dark blues or strong reds. Somewhat like a Persian Mahal, but with a lighter overall palette. Cotton foundation, medium weave. Furnishing versatile.
