C. 1890 The field is divided into four panels with coral, red, medium blue, and navy grounds, each with two ashiks in cream, navy, coral, and teal, with straw and sand horizontal separator bands with running syrga patterns. Secondary tonally en suite half ashiks. Very narrow dark brown main border with an ecru diamond chain. Dark brown wool warps, slit tapestry weave with wool pattern wefts. Bolder and less cluttered than the usual Caucasian fare. Good condition, medium weave.
