Semi-Antique Persian Abadeh 3'5"×4'11"

This petit scatter shows all of the Abadeh characteristics: the ecru sb-field is centred by a red stepped octagon with an ecru knot repeated in the four corners. Small animals and birds abound along with X’s, vases, rosettes and tiny flowers. Larger flowers and more X’s in the corners. Ecru border with rosettes and palmettes on a leafy meander. Cotton foundation, medium weave. Good condition.
