New Pakistani Caucasian-style Rug 4'1"×5'7"

Made in Pakistan, this is this well-woven village-style scatter shows a navy field supporting a red, barbed lattice enclosing a wide variety of geometric palmettes, triple and quintuple flowers and stylized upright blossoms. There is no diagonal motif effect, but each row alternates filler elements. Six patterned borders including an ecru main stripe with a chained crab design. Two minor borders with diagonal stripes. Rich palette with no yellows or light blues. Good condition. One of the better new imitations of this Antique style that we have ever seen.
