C. 1900 With all natural dyes, this rustic runner sports a mellow madder red field deploying a close single-column version of the allover Herati design, accented in navy, straw, cerulean blue and burnt salmon. Main border with small, leaf-winged reversing palmettes. Reversing fan palmette minors. Cotton foundation, medium-coarse village weave. Visible wear with some areas deeper, one side rough and in need of work. Fair condition.
