Semi-Antique Persian Khosroabad Josheghan 8'7"×12'2"

Khosroabad, a village near Joshegan proper has a deserved reputation for quality weaving. This room size shows all of the characteristic Joshegan features: red field with lozenge-shaped floral arrays; medium blue stepped corners ensuite pattern wise; nested navy diamond medallion with a central four-way palmette motif; navy border with squared-off palmettes detailed in cream. Good urban weave on cotton, medium-short pile. Good condition.
