Modern Pak slit-tapestry technique flatweaves go all out in the abrash direction, as shown here with a three column pattern of poles variegated in rust, red, blue, green and tangerine. Ashik poles between on the cream ground and side filler columns with nested, toothed zig-zags. Charcoal main border with paired S’s and Z’s. Zig-zag meander and double hourglass minor borders, both with straw-cream grounds. Wool pattern wefts. As new condition.
