C. 1930 Kashan weavers love red, here a coral field with a sickle leaf, palmette and rosette vinery presents a tall, imbricated navy medallion with an oval octilobe centre, with semi-en suite navy, ecru-straw and medium blue extended corners. Navy border with reversing palmettes and slender, forked leaf separators. Iconic Kashan palette and pattern. Cotton foundation, medium-fine weave. Good condition.
