The allover small Herati design appears on the navy ground and central hook-fringed hexagon, and unchanged in scale on the cream hexagonal sub-field. Bidjar weavers have always favoured the easy to recall and repeat Herati pattern. Near-black main border with reversing turtles. Plain ecru outermost surround. Cotton foundation, very compact and solid medium weave. As new condition with untrimmed long warp fringe.
