New Persian Hamadan Runner 3'0"×13'5"
C. 1990 Possibly an Enjelas, a higher grade of Hamadan rustic work, the brisk red field presents an ecru, teal and blue allover, small Herati design of rayed, open diamonds, bent “fish”leaves and rosettes. There are small stepped charcoal corners and the main ivory border is in the Saraband style with a trapezoidal meander and hanging botehs. Cotton foundation, medium village weave. Good to as new condition.
