C. 1950 An obscure attribution, but a very well -drawn and executed urban, fine weave, scatter with a shaped red field centred by a densely voluted, penanted navy medallion with a small ecru focal octofoil. Ragged and curled leaves, rosette sprays, arabesque vines and palmettes. Acanthus edge to pendants. Pointed ecru corners with conforming light blue cores. Navy border with reversing palmettes trapped by split acanthus and barbed lancet leaves. Cotton foundation. Good condition.
