C. 1990 The maroon red field is densely covered with a small Herati design which goes under the five pendants and floating ecru octogrammes, each with eight internal radiating palmettes. The Herati produces a small lattice over pattern. Near black main border with large petal rosettes and reversing turtles with drooping arms. Off-white main borders with rosette and leaf repeats. Cotton foundation, medium-fine, extremely compact and board-like weave. As new condition.
