C. 1905 The red field sneaks up the sides with square tabs and expands in the triangular corners with teal square cores. Thus defined, the navy field shows an octogramme sand four palmette medallion with light/powder blue raged palmette pendants.  Semi-geometric flowers and leaves fill in the remaining field spaces. Attractive ecru main strip-style border with green-accented reversing turtles. The side borders are particularly creative.  Cotton foundation, moderate weave, natural dyes. Good condition. Very attractive and authentic carpet.
