Antique Persian Heriz 7'11"×17'4"
This large gallery-size Persian rug was woven in the town of Heriz in the late 19th century. The navy field contains an intricate design in pastel colors, dotted with palmettes, flowers and geometric figures. The red border is decorated with stylized boteh figures in ivory and a light blue/aqua.
