C. 1900 This moderately coarse woven short kellegi (long rug) from just to the east of the Karabagh district, shows a characteristic diagonal band pattern alternating in ecru and navy, with a homogeneous block-S pattern in straw-yellow, green, red, royal blue and sand. Ecru main border with an faceted smooth meander and square-voluted calyxes. Bitonal keyhole guards and four dotted lines. Symmetric knots. Corroded brown-black, otherwise good condition.
