New Indian Contemporary Design 8'1"×10'2"
In the 17th century Indo-Isfahan style, but with a very, very dark maroon ground setting off complex sharply petaled palmettes and pointed petal rosettes, all on a single level vinery creating a dramatic four element centerpiece. Some vinery shows spirals (islimi). Secondary tones are effectively abrashed. Camel-tone main border with in-and-out alternating ragged palmettes and sharply barbed slanted leaves. Mium urban weave on cotton foundation. As new condition.
