New Indian Contemporary Design 8'0"×10'2"
This attractive black ground urban carpet shows a four column pattern closely derived from 17th century Kerman “Vase Carpet” archetypes. No vases here, but tilted polychriome petal palmettes, ivory amphora iris palmettes and ivory flaming palmettes, organized by a large, stiff ogival vinery trellis and supported by a secondary spiral overall tendril. Eggshell border of in and out petal palmettes. Indo-Tabriz style. Medium city weave. Cotton foundation. As new condition.
