Antique Turkmen Yomud Bagface 2'5"×4'3"
C. 1895 This is a classic liver-red nomadic tent bag face with a three by three array of tribal guls quartered in ecru and red, with elongated chemche minor guls between. Ecru main border with “Union Jack” floating, rectangular modules. Plain lower and upper elems (panels). All wool construction with resilient spring clip pile wool. Well-woven. Good condition.
