Two columns of “Memling guls” are positioned by a rectangular lattice. Panels are in a semi-regular pattern, for example, check out the alternating positions of the ivory octagons. Wide natural dye palette including: straw, sand, ivory, green, brown-black, red, navy and salmon. Ecru border with calyx and serrated slanted leaf repeat. Medachyl bitonal reciprocal minors. Moderate weave, woolen foundation. Good condition for the age and use with brown-black properly corroded.
