C. 1890 Originally the long sides and bottom of a box-format bag, lacking the en suite smaller end sections, this all-wool slit-tapestry technique tribal artifact shows moss green and brow bands with Shirvan-style stepped and flattened quadruple hexagons in cerulean blue, ecru and camel. Red abrashed plainweave central section. White cotton minor border details. One old patch. Otherwise good condition with a medium weave.
