Antique Caucasian Genje Long Rug 4'0"×8'7"

C. 1895 This is a classic diagonally striped Genje in straw, coral red, green, brown-black, red, rust, navy, light blue, brick and tan, within a quadruple border of connected starts, stars and bars and multicoloured 90 degree turned H’s.. One way pattern of small flowers repeats in all the stripes. Wool foundation. Needs a stretch and a few minor corner issues resolved. Natural dyes. Fairly good condition or slightly better.
