Antique Hamadans and Sarabs, as here, share camel-tone fields and borders, but the cotton foundations of Hamadans differ from the wool of Sarabs. The stretched navy medallion with a central rosette and a fractional Herati design, is set on the camel and cream hexagon lattice-patterned field. Deep navy spandrels with barbed leaves and rosettes in a semi-Herati style. Border with teal accents and colourful small hexagons. Outer plain camel-tone frame. End reduction is more visible at the lower end. Good, usable condition. Medium-coarse rustic weave.
