C. 1950 This well-woven city piece shows an American style broken border of escutcheons and almost closed paired volutes, detailed in cream and dark blue, framing the ecru field with a centred millefleurs pattern accented in a wide range of natural colours. Focal rosette radiates buds and florets. Light, but complex, palette. Cotton foundation. Good condition, intact fringe.
