C. 1950 The saturated navy ground shows hooked polychrome sickled leaves, palmettes and buds, all on a pale blue vinery. The subtly octogrammoidal shows eight internal radiating palmettes, amid a tight straw arabesques, all on the navy ground. Navy corners with straw volute forked arabesques. Navy border with sharp petal palmettes. Only the slightest of red accents. Palmette and acanthus sickle leaf border corners. Medium-fine weave, cotton foundation. Good condition. Classic design.
