Semi-Antique Persian Bidjar 4'6"×11'9"
C. 1910 The attractively corroded brown-black field sets off in relief the offset rows of floriated cones – botehs without the top hooks – with details in ecru, straw, rose-red, green and light blue. Triple borers all share reversing winged palmette patterns, on ecru-sand, rose red and straw. Wool foundation, village work from the Bidjar area. Solid, medium weave. Except for intended brown corrosion, good condition.
