C. 1925 A powerful pole medallion of two ragged, veined palmettes around a central medium blue cartouche dominates the navy field with a scattered fill of tulips, birds and bent leaves. Broken or oblique arabesque “arches” at each end. Steel blue “Dragon vine” main border and rose minors. Very light reduction at one end. Medium rustic weave on cotton. Generally good condition with very light wear towards centre.
