Antique Nepalese Kilim 3'11"×5'9"
C. 1900 Nine diagonal sections of this slit-tapestry technique flatweave show colour-banded right triangles and rhomboids in sand, straw, beige, tan, sienna and brown. A narrow dark line is the entire border system. Looks like a hooked American rug. Hard to place and hard to date, but very unusual nonetheless. All wool construction, good condition.
