C. 1900 A bit more space and bolder motives characterize this antique Heriz with an all-natural dye  palette including the irregularly shaped red field centred by a navy, ragged palmette  pendanted, four palmette semi-octogramme medallion with  a powerful light blue  eight petal sub-medallion. Leaves and flowers freely move about the field. Extended ecru corners with navy square cores. Navy strip-style main border with reversing turtles accented in green. Moderate rustic weave on cotton. Good condition with slight end reduction.
