C. 1900 This rather broadly drawn example features a cream field flowing into the spandrels beside the faceted , floating and internally striped niche arch, and shows a barbed hexagonal leaf lattice enclosing several types of geometric flowers accented in light blue, green, straw and salmon-rust. Coral red main border with sloping barred S’s. Old gold outer band with X and cross pattern. Field edged with red sawtooth pattern. Moderate weave. Symmetric knots, wool foundation. Generally good condition.
