Antique Caucasian Kazak 6'0"×7'3"
This antique Caucasian carpet was woven in the Kazak Khanate during the late 19th century. The Khanate was a cultural melting pot, situated at a crossroads between Turkish, Russian and Persian spheres of influence. This influenced the Kazak rugs of this period, which often showed unique combinations of traditional Persian, Turkish and Caucasian designs.
