Semi-Antique Afghan Turkman Runner 2'9"×9'1"
C. 1950 Five columns of Tekke Turkmen guls with minor Kurbaghe guls, decorate the red field of this unusual format nomadic piece, moderately well-woven on an all-wool foundation. The numerous borders include a central major red stripe with half Kurbaghes forming a zig-zag. Two ecru minor borders. Flatwoven end strips with simple linear patterns. End should be stabilized before use. Good condition.
